The traditional ninth “The Dubai Sugar Conference” is being held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. This year the motto of the conference is “From Evolution to Revolution – The Road Ahead, Time to embrace a new reality”.
It is the largest international event in the sugar industry, where key global stakeholders discuss, debate and analyze last year’s results and the further development of this branch in the food industry. The call now, as the organizers say, is all about the imperatives, moving from what can be done, to what must be done, and done now.
During the conference, more than 10 expert sessions were organized, followed by workshops, panels, lectures, as well as an International Sugar Quiz. The teams that compete in the quiz were: Team Asia Pacific, Team Europe and Team South America.
Our Ana Studen, Head of Business Development of STUDEN Global, participated in Team Europe, and together with her teammates, showed excellent knowledge and won the first prize.
