Brčko, 28 April 2016 Ceremonial signing of the contract on sponsorship between the STUDEN Holding and the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina took place today in front of the administrative building of the BIMAL Company in Brcko. In addition to supporting the Olympic Committee, STUDEN Holding also supports the most successful athlete in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amel Tuka. The contracts were signed by the STUDEN Holding CEO, Ilija Studen, STUDEN Holding Vice President for the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ekrem Hanić, Vice President of the Olympic Committee, Sinisa Kisic and Amel Tuka.
As the leading producer of high quality products, STUDEN Holding has recognised the importance of the promotion of sports development in our town and country, so for the last three years the BIMAL Company, one of the STUDEN Holding members, has been the general sponsor of the Women’s Volleyball Team BIMAL-JEDINSTVO from Brcko. Today, STUDEN Holding continues to promote and build the image of our country through sports victories which it sees as the motivating force for everyday tasks because hiring and investing in young athletes is an investment in a healthy future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Vice-President of the BiH Olympic Committee, Sinisa Kisic said that with the signing of the contract on sponsorship, STUDEN Holding opens doors for young people to develop their sports skills. Kisic said that this strategic support is crucial for BiH. The Committee is an umbrella organisation for the best athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stressing the importance of cooperation with the STUDEN Holding, Amel Tuka said he was proud to represent his country at the Olympic Games in Brazil. “I perceive the products of the country under whose name I perform as my own products, so I will proudly compete promoting local B&H brands, BIMAL cooking oil, AGRAGOLD sugar and MINGOS coffee,” said Tuka.
Addressing the audience, STUDEN Holding Chairman, Mr. Ilija Studen said that when we talk about the imperatives of modern business, contribution to quality of life is an essential duty of large companies. „STUDEN Holding has recognised its own qualities, commitment, responsibility and quality in our Olympic representative Amel Tuka, so we believe that Bosnia and Herzegovina is to achieve big results in the upcoming Olympic Games,“ said Mr. Studen.
The signing ceremony was attended by members of the Women’s Volleyball team BIMAL-JEDINSTVO which has been crowned with the title of the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the tenth time.
Following the signing of the cooperation agreement, a tour of the Agro-industrial complex STUDEN Holding was organised, including the factory for the production of BIMAL edible oil and STUDEN-AGRANA Sugar Refinery. Employees took this opportunity to meet and greet our sportsman and take photos with him.
As part of the event a visits to the athletic club „Cross“ from Brcko was organised and its members presented their achievements in competitions in the country and in the world.
