Brčko, 24.06.2019 – The largest investor in the food industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and largest foreign investor in Brčko District, STUDEN Group, presented today an initiative in value of BAM 500 million, which will enable overall growth and development of the business environment in Brčko, as well better quality of life of the District population and also of the entire region.
In cooperation with the Mayor of Brčko District of BiH, Chairman of the Assembly and Chamber of Commerce, STUDEN Group held a presentation under title “Business initiative for comprehensive improvement of the business environment and standard of living in Brčko District of BiH”. Reflecting on the investments and economic trends in the world, but also in the country in last two decades, the potentials and space for returning of the Brčko District on the map of attractive business locations with a lot of contents were presented.
“Such significant business initiative, which foresee over 4,000 jobs and investments of BAM 500 million, is possible only with mutual support and cooperation with competent institutions, which in the end is crucial for such projects. Investment attractiveness is inevitably reduced to simple and efficient cooperation of foreign and domestic investors with a functional system and stabile environment which enables fast implementation of business“ said president of the Management of the STUDEN Group, Ilija Studen.
The presentation featured the methods on how to have the high quality products and services finding their place in the potential which Brčko District has, and it also included business plans in field of tourism, agricultural production, entertainment, infrastructure, and processing industry and logistics.
The Mayor of the Brčko District of BiH, Siniša Milić, and Chairman of the Assembly Esed Kadrić, have expressed positive inclination and took the obligation for maximum cooperation from institutional side in order to improve the investments climate in Brčko, and for the presented projects to soon come to life.
