USA Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Maureen Cormack, visited STUDEN Holding Agro-industrial complex in Brcko, which includes the factory for production of edible oil Bimal jsc and STUDEN-AGRANA Sugar Refinery.
In the course of the visit to the STUDEN-Holding production centre, the current economic issues, opportunities for improving the business environment in the country and potential investments were discussed. One of the topics of the meeting was the importance of political and economic stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina for further investments in BiH.
Her Excellency the US Ambassador in BiH Maureen Cormack was interested in future activities of STUDEN Holding and its potential plans for expansion and investments.
STUDEN Holding CEO Mr. Ilija Studen emphasised the importance of establishing cooperation between all stakeholders in the country that can contribute to improving the business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Support of the countries with developed economies is always a valuable incentive for creating a good business climate. Establishment of a political and economic stability is a prerequisite for further investments in the production industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina” said Studen.

STUDEN Holding owns international agro-business portfolio, which includes processing and trading of oilseeds and cereals, as well as production and distribution of food products i.e. white sugar and edible oils. Agro-industrial complex in Brcko is one of STUDEN Holding’s centres. At the same time, this is one of the largest agro-industrial complexes in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
