The foundation stone for the construction of the STUDEN Business Center (SBC) in Brčko was laid

07.03.2023, Brčko – Today, the foundation stone for the construction of the STUDEN Business Center was laid in the Industrial Zone of Brčko District, marking the official start of this major investment. The foundation stone of STUDEN Business Center was laid by the President of the Management of STUDEN & CO Holding Ilija Studen, Ambassador of Austria to BiH Ulrike Hartmann, Supervisor for Brčko District Jonathan Mennuti, Mayor of Brčko District Esed Kadrić, Deputy Mayor of Brčko District Anto Domić and President of the Assembly of Brčko District Siniša Milić. After the officialization of the works in the Industrial Zone, a presentation of the complete STUDEN Business Center project and related future activities of STUDEN & CO Holding was held.

The construction of the STUDEN Business Center represents the realization of the first phase of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Brčko District Government and STUDEN & CO Holding. STUDEN Business Center will be the largest industrial zone in Brčko District and also the first free trade zone in this area. The center will be built on 35 hectares of land, and the total investment for all four phases of this investment will amount to over BAM 250 million.

„From 2002, when we started the first investments in Brčko District, until today, when we laid the foundation stone for STUDEN Business Center, we have been constantly working on expanding our Group’s operations. We believe in the success of this investment and hope that it will only be the beginning of large joint business ventures aimed at the development of this region“, said Mr. Studen during the laying of the foundation stone of the STUDEN Business Center.

Mayor Esed Kadrić once again pointed out that STUDEN Holding is a well-known investor in Brčko District and that he believes that “this will be an opportunity to create new jobs and develop our city, and that we will attract a large number of new investments with a good example of cooperation.”
