Ilija Studen is Winner of the Business Leadership Prize

Studen: By Investing in the Western Balkan Countries, we Create Positive Commercial Trends

Brčko, 06 December 2016. With the cooperation of the Centre for Transatlantic Relations SAIS at Johns Hopkins University and the American Chamber of Commerce a two-day Transatlantic Economic Forum was held in Washington. In addition to participating in the panel session “Doing Business in the Balkans,” the CEO of STUDEN Holding g. Ilija Studen was awarded “2016 CTR Mediterranean Leadership Award”, which is awarded to influential businesses for contribution to the creation of a stable and prosperous Mediterranean.

 

When receiving the award for business leadership, Mr. Ilija Studen said he was proud that he was the laureate of this prestigious award, which ranks his name among the group of business people whose strategic commitment has been recognised as a successful business model. “STUDEN Holding is present for more than 25 years as a significant investor in the region of the Western Balkans, and our vision of constant growth is confirmed by today’s recognition. By constantly investing in the economy of the Western Balkans, the Holding actively participates in the creation of positive economic trends, but also in the transformation of the markets in developing countries. The two-day Transatlantic Economic Forum was an opportunity for representatives from 13 countries of the Mediterranean region to analyse together with representatives of companies and renowned academic experts the challenges present in the global market, which are associated with transatlantic relations and development agendas of the Western Balkans.
